Performing at the
Kaw Mission
ONAYLF 2023 WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!
Twenty-six students were entered into the fair this year and all did a great job! The skit, The Mialóshka, won 1st place, and was performed by Damian Little Deer, Thomas Spotted Bear, Dasan Little Dear, and Cooper Engleking. Declan Clark performed, A'Ka Níkashiⁿga, and won 1st place. Maudie Jones and Irene Spotted Bear performed a skit they wrote called, Mossy Man, and took 1st place. Makiah Brandt, Lela Combs, Anna Spotted Bear, Kadence Pitts, and Braxton Johnson performed Ta Wak'ó, and received Honorable Mention. Zeus Little Deer and Zachary Langley explained their favorite game, Minecraft, in Kaáⁿze Íe, and took 2nd place. Katzy Buffalohead and Maudie Jones received 1st place for their skit, Hair Braiding is Sacred. Brandy Wood performed The Big Snake, and won 1st place. Jacey Pappan won 2nd in the same category with her Clara Littlewalker Speech. Sandra LeClair won 1st for her personal prayer. Jake Spotted Bear won 2nd for his Wrestling Takedown Moves, and Austin Wood received 3rd place for his Carlisle Indian School letter. Everyone who entered did a fantastic job! Yáli Wáli Shkaághe!

Beginner Level Class: Every Wednesday, starting September 20th from 1:15 to 1:30 via Zoom!

Lesson 1

Pilot Class
This class is more advanced and delves into verb conjugation, translating sentences from English to Kaáⁿze íe, and speaking Kaáⁿze íe.
This class is held via Zoom every Thurday at 5:30 until further notice. If you would like to join, please email us and let us know!

Youth Class
After school classes are held every Monday and Friday until 4:45. This class has grown significantly during the summer months. Email us if your child is interested in attending.
